Looking Down at Keem Bay
Keem Bay, at the most western part of Achill Island, county Mayo, Ireland, is such a beautiful spot. Fortunately, only few tourists find their way to this rural part of the Emerald Isle. I found this spot a couple of years back when I had a holiday home in Doogort on Achill Island, famous for Heinrich Böll's "Irisches Tagebuch". This is one of the few places where I would build my dream home, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Maybe, one day, when I win the lottery...
By the way, this picture was not modified or enhanced in Photoshop. This was shot in RAW and exported from my Lightroom Catalogue. Just amazing what a sunny day and my Nikon D80 can do.
