Next week I’m going to see my AME for a brief consultation. As you may know I am suffering from Migraine Headaches. This does not automatically disqualify you from getting you Medical and Pilot Certification, as long as you don’t want to be an ATPL. Thank god!
But the decission of disqualifying you solely lies in the hands of the AME and I don’t want to risk to start my pilot training and having to stop because of my disqualification. This would be a wast of money.
Another AME already told me that it is possible to get my Medical as long as there are no neurological deficiencies and the Migraine headaches are not instantaneous. We’ll see. I will have a few sleepless nights until my consultation day.
